Healing for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
In my experience OCD normally arises as a result of some form of loss or trauma.
During this traumatic experience, the person feels totally vulnerable and out of control, which is a highly unpleasant feeling. Then, in order to prevent a similar future happening, the person incorrectly believes that if they can control everything then nothing bad can happen to them. Effectively, they are constantly trying to protect themselves from hurt. But living like this is exhausting, because of course, we cannot control everything, and the person does not fully live or strives to become fulfilled, but simply exists, in a constant state of anxiety – and normally a state of stagnation, never really trying anything new, never allowing themselves to fully love or live. So when my clients are struggling with OCD we work on healing the original trauma (which might not even be in this lifetime – for more on this refer to my article on Past Lives) and then bringing the person back to a healed and whole state through the processes of soul retrieval and power retrieval.
When the person feels whole again, they feel safe. We then work towards gradually moving out of their comfort zones so the person is free from their compulsions and able to live fully and freely.
